MESA – Maintenance & Engineering has received its second Airbus A380 for maintenance services at its state-of-the-art facility in Beja, Portugal. The Global Airlines Airbus A380-841, registered as 9H-GLOBL, was ferried by Hi Fly on a 1,240-nautical-mile journey from Dresden, Germany.
This milestone highlights MESA's growing expertise with the Airbus A380, the world's largest commercial aircraft, cementing its reputation as a leader in the MRO sector. As one of the few global companies certified to maintain this complex aircraft, MESA continues to set industry benchmarks.
During its time at the MESA facility, the A380 will undergo routine maintenance, cabin enhancements and the application of Global Airlines' distinctive livery. MESA's specialised team and cutting-edge infrastructure ensure the highest standards of safety and quality, enabling the delivery of innovative and tailored engineering solutions.
