Textron Aviation has secured US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification for Gogo Galileo HDX satellite connectivity on its Cessna Citation Longitude and Citation Latitude business jets, expanding options for passengers seeking high-speed internet access worldwide.

The system uses Eutelsat’s OneWeb low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite network. Textron Aviation said customers would benefit from a preferred global service rate guaranteed for three years. New aircraft delivered from 2028 will be eligible for free installation of the system.

The certification gives operators of the Citation Longitude and Latitude access to a factory-supported connectivity system designed to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access across global routes.

Gogo Galileo HDX uses a fuselage-mounted antenna intended to simplify installation and operation compared with other satellite connectivity systems.
